meditation - receive the possibility of letting go

facilitated by Sue Thomas

Sue has recently completed her training to become a Veriditas Trainer, and has had a long association with using the labyrinth for meditative and spiritual practices.

Noel Davis introduces his collection of writings in Heart Gone Walkabout*, with a quote from an Elder of the Aranda Tribe, "When things get too much I go walkabout. Bush helps me work it out. I come back when it feels right." Davis follows this with his own words,

               I’ve gone walkabout

               and I don’t know why

               My heart has her reasons…

Must I trust her to be my guide?

In these times of uncertainty and fatigue, the labyrinth offers an opportunity to take time away, to lay aside thoughts for a while, to surrender the stressors and expectations in walking the path, to ease into stillness, and to return when it feels right.

Join us as we go walkabout, trust the path, and open ourselves to receive the possibility of letting go.
